Mipec Port Joint Stock Company (Transaction name: “MPC”) was established in June 2015. The current shareholders are companies with good governance, financial capacity, and long-term experience in the fields of logistics, warehousing, and inland port operations. They are a longtime agents for international and domestic shipping lines carrying container and general cargo at Vietnam's seaports.

In 2017, the Company implemented the project of investment and construction of a port to receive ships up to 40,000 DWT at Dinh Vu Peninsula, in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone, Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong City, Vietnam.

In May 2020, the Vietnam Maritime Administration issued a decision to announce the Opening of MPC Port after the project is completed and fully meets the conditions for seaport operation business as prescribed.

MPC Port is a specialized port for container and general cargo ships that can receive ships with a tonnage of up to 40,000 DWT, with a length of up to 225 meters in and out continuously, regularly, and safely.
